Tony Calvacca is a co-owner of New York Business Brokerage, Inc. and has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and management. As a principal of New York Business Brokerage Inc., Tony formally represents business owners in the sale of their companies. His services include business valuations, financial and operational analysis, marketing of the business, creation of customized marketing materials, screening of acquisition candidates, due diligence support, negotiating price and terms on behalf of the seller, assistance in securing financing and coordination of the closing of the transaction with the attorneys, CPA’s , financial planners, lenders and landlords. Prior to entering the business brokerage profession Tony served as Assistant Vice President in the Employee Benefits Division of Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency, LLC a subsidiary of Bank of America. In that position, he worked directly with CEOs, CFOs and human resources executives in the financial analysis, strategic design and implementation of their Medical, Dental, Life and Disability plans. Before joining Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency, LLC Tony was employed by Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield as an Account Manager. Working as a small business owner prior to entering the corporate world, he operated a wholesale / retail business for 10 years. Tony is one of only ten brokers in the state of New York to have earned the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) with the International Business Brokers Association. He is also very active in the New York Association of Business Brokers (NYABB) currently serving as president of the organization. Tony has been quoted as an expert source in a number of financial publications, websites and newspapers including the Wall Street Journals Smart Money, Long Island Business News, The Business Brokerage Press, Newsday and Businessesforsale.com. Tony also regularly speaks on business acquisitions and sales issues at Chambers of Commerce, civic organizations and local business associations.
