Company Overview
“We value small business.”
Morgan & Westfield is a Southern California Brokerage Company specializing in the confidential sale, acquisition, valuation and appraisal of small to mid-sized privately owned businesses with EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amoritization) of up to $5,000,000. Our mission is simple: To treat each situation as being unique, emphasizing the express need for creative, custom-designed solutions.
Morgan & Westfield has earned the reputation as being one of the most aggressive and innovative brokers in all of Southern California. We are proud to take a highly individualized and customized approach to every transaction. Areas of innovation we currently have in place or in development include:
- Comprehensive, detailed full-color 30- to 60-page selling memorandums with professionally-prepared photographs, competitive analyses, demographic analyses, growth plans, projections, and more.
- Aggressive marketing campaigns to sell businesses – including fax blasts, telemarketing, direct mail, internet marketing, and even social media such as Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter.
- Personalized business consulting by third party industry-specific experts, included in the price of the business. 80% of buyers are first-time buyers, and tend to be apprehensive when buying a business. We alleviate these concerns by providing expert advisors to help them every step of the way, all at no additional cost.
- Programs to sell million dollar businesses with as little as 2% cash required. Call us toll-free at 888-693-7834 to find out how we sold a million dollar business last year with only $20,000 down.
- Creative financing techniques – we know how to make un-bankable clients bankable, permanently removing negative information from credit reports and properly packaging the business to qualify for financing from creative sources.
- Reduction of the amount of time it takes a buyer to sign and return the non-disclosure agreement. The average time for most brokers (in our estimate) is 3 to 5 days; we are reducing this time to less than 10 minutes.
- How to legally lower the quoted rent (a major bottleneck when selling certain types of businesses) when advertising a business for sale without the landlord’s approval.
- How to lower your income taxes when selling your business by up to two-thirds.
- Our exclusive “quick-close” program – how to close the sale of your business within 3 days once a qualified buyer is found.
- Access to industry-specific resources such as Pratt’s Stats, IBIS World, Biz Comps, and Info USA.

Broker Profile
Morgan and Westfield’s principals, Cindy Kim and Jacob Orosz, have owned and operated shopping centers, insurance and finance companies, manufacturing, retail, marketing, service, and international companies with revenues of up to $50,000,000. Combined, they have over 30 years of industry experience and have successfully brokered the sale of a wide variety of companies from medical facilities to restaurants to multi-million dollar manufacturing plants. Morgan and Westfield is well grounded in reality and practical experience, rather than in esoteric theory taught in universities. We have owned what we are selling and understand it inside and out.
Jacob Orosz has been a guest lecturer at local colleges, universities, and institutions and is a member of the California Business Brokers Association (CABB), Chino Hills Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and the Graduate School of Coaching. From a humble beginning as an entrepreneur at the age of 14, Jacob has since owned and operated many businesses, and also held executive officer positions at publicly-traded companies.
Cindy Kim, originally from South Korea, has been a Southern California resident for over 20 years. She has owned businesses in the fashion, insurance, retail, service, and financial industries. Cindy’s strengths lie in her human relation skills and ability to relate to people of all different educational backgrounds, nationalities, and personalities.
