Sunbelt can help sell your business without anyone, including; employees, customers or competitors, knowing that it is on the market. This is important to ensure a smooth transition of the business during the selling process. Our confidential system extends to buyers as well. Non-disclosure contracts are required and buyer registration is confidential as many of our buyers may not want their business search investigation to be discovered by employers.

Broker Profile
David Barnett is a 1998 graduate of the Williams School of Business and Economics at Bishop’s University, and a 1999 graduate of UNBSJ’s Electronic Commerce Management Programme. For the past decade, Mr. Barnett has been building his profile as an expert in the field of small and medium sized enterprises. From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Barnett was an account representative with the Yellow Pages.
This opportunity gave him an insight into the particular challenges of small business as he dealt daily with the owners of these companies. In 2005, Mr. Barnett left the publishing industry to start a small business with a partner. JUNK Away was an immediate success. After opening, operating and building the business, an opportunity to sell presented itself in late 2006.
Starting, building and selling his own business helped Mr. Barnett satisfy one of his life-long goals. In 2006 he opened another new firm, Advantage Liquidity Partners Ltd, a commercial loan brokerage company. This company helps small and medium sized businesses obtain financing from traditional and non-traditional sources. This experience also extends into helping business buyers obtain financing for their intended transaction. In 2008 David completed his training as a certified machinery & equipment appraiser. CMEA’s are qualified to issue USPAP compliant appraisals. In 2009, David completed his training as a Certified Business Intermediary and earned the designation from the International Business Broker’s Association. The CBI program takes over a year to complete and demonstrates David’s commitment to offering superior service to his clients.
