2. Partnership: The owner would be willing to stay with the company and bring on a partner who could assist with a planned expansion. The seller will exchange 20% equity for a $250,000 investment and allow the Buyer to purchase additional equity with the buyer’s allocated earnings. The buyer may be an active or passive participant. An active buyer would be able to draw a $100,000 salary.
