This is a great opportunity to own a vehicle recovery company that services banks and financial companies and operates throughout southeastern Michigan. Recovery fees range from a low of $235 per vehicle to a high of $500 per vehicle. The average recovery fee is approximately $275. In addition, once the vehicle is recovered, they charge for vehicle storage plus per vehicle to clean out the personal property. Seller is currently finalizing a contract for additional work with Fifth Third Bank.
There are two recovery people who are independent contractors paid on 1099's and who earn commission only of $65. Employees include a full-time office person. The owner is also active in the business. His role is dealing with clients, bookkeeping, locating vehicles (skip tracing), etc. Also, the seller will provide one month of training to the buyer beginning at closing.
