The business is engaged in the pool maintenance service business including cleaning, regular maintenance, openings and closings, remodeling, liner repair or replacement, tile work, heater installation and other services. The majority of its customer base is repeat business and they tell their friends that this is the place to get the highest quality pool service and maintenance. The business loses approximately 5-8 accounts during each year, but are replenished from other new or return clients. On average, the business services approximately 60 customers each season. The store services customers residing in the East Hampton and Southampton regions mainly due to proximity to the owner’s residence. Approximately 85% of the service business is performed by the one full-time employee. Repairs are completed by the owner and other subcontracted companies. Since its inception in 1991, the business has provided an abundance of friendly service, excellent reliability, and dedication to its customers. There is no pool installation service, however, a new owner of the business could add this dimension to the business if desired.

Advertising is also done in the two local papers, which generates additional business.
