Affluent customers consign courtlier designer garments to the store. The business enjoys a large recurring patron base, both as consignees and customers. The store only takes those goods that are courtlier designer labels in excellent condition at a resale price acceptable to the store’s management. The store agrees to market the garments and if sold, the proceeds are split 60% to the store and 40% to the garment owner. At the end of 90 days, if the garment has not sold, the garment’s owner is requested to claim the garment. Garments not claimed become the property of the store.
