We have owned the business for eight years +. The income has been very consistent and we are probably the lowest priced sheds/storage in town. We have been at 100% capacity all year, and have never fallen below 94%. Calls come in daily for shed rentals. I use the gross profit to pay the bank note, pay for my vehicle, provide life insurance for my wife and myself, and pay for insurance and taxes plus draw a thousand dollars a month. The on-site managers do all of the work including collecting rent and making deposits.

Behind and to the side are 104 storage sheds of 4 sizes: 12 (5' X 10'), 24 (10' X10'), 44 (10' X 15') and 24 (10' X 20'). Current rents are $26.00, $38.00, $54.00, and $72.00, respectively. Market Competition and Expansion:

There seems to be a shortage of storage sheds in the area as everyone seems to be at capacity. There is a large lot behind our sheds and a smaller one to the south. The sheds are due for a price increase as it has been three years at the current rates. The house could rent for $600 - $700/month and the large garage could generate another $400 - $600 per month if an on-site manager is not used. Increasing rates could generate another $500 per month.
