erection, custom fabrication using various metals, custom plate work, special welding, pipe fitting, and transportation of product. It is the only heavy duty plate, custom and miscellaneous steel fabricator within a 100 mile location of its facility.
The Company targets industrial, commercial, and institutional markets. In 2009, 51% of the Company’s clients were industrial, 29% were institutional and 20% were commercial. For each year over the past five years, the Company has provided
its services to approximately 250 customers. Most of its customers are within a 100 mile radius of the production facility. In 2009, 59% of the Company’s clients were repeat business from the previous year.
The Company employs 30 full-time employees, as well as the owner. The staff consists of the President, an office manager, a project manager/estimator and a truck driver. The balance of the work is performed by experienced union journeymen and apprentices, including two Project Manager/ Estimators. The Plant Manager is a key member of management, as well as a certified union journeyman. The average employee is 41 years old and has been with the Company for nine years.
