The Company is a very well established National Wholesale Distributor of fishing, hunting and camping equipment, selling to independent sporting goods stores and bait & tackle stores on a National basis. They sell a full line of fishing products consisting of most of the better-known Brands in the industry. The camping and hunting products are more limited and currently do not include firearms or ammunition other than air rifles and paint ball ammo. The Company has an extensive database of customers and vendors that they have been working successfully with for many years on a “first name” basis. They purchase in-line products, closeouts, and over-runs at very advantageous prices and service the customer base by attending key shows, via the internet, and sending flyers/catalogs with all of their product offerings on a more limited basis. The Company maintains strong margins and takes much of the seasonality out of the business by offering such a full line selection. They service fresh water and saltwater fishing, open water and ice fishing, cold water and warm water species as well as hunting to level the seasonality.

The Company currently operates from a Company owned facility of approximately 25,000 square feet, including warehouse, office space and wholesale showroom. The real estate is listed separately but could be purchased as part of this transaction if the Buyer prefers to do so. They also have leased warehouse space in Cincinnati and a Chicago area showroom. The business could actually be operated with significantly less square footage! This business could certainly be relocated if the buyer prefers another location more convenient for them as the customer base is National. No more than 12,000 to 15,000 square feet (maximum) would be required.
