This is a fishing charter service offering Florida west coast fishing at its best. The yacht is a totally renovated 1965 41’ Hatteras with twin Cummins engines installed new in 2001. The 8 KW Westerbeke Generator was installed new in 2004. The electronics include Radar, furuno color fish finder, Garmen 225 color navigation plotter system and full state of the art helm and engine instrumentation system. The charter service averages 2-3 charters per week which are usually 1/2 day trips. The proforma numbers below are believed to be conservative and are arrived at as follows. Sales equal 2.5 average weekly charters X $700 X 52 weeks. Fuel cost average per trip at $5 per gallon equals $300 X 130 trips equals $39,000. Slip fees including tax and other charges are $700 Month X 12 equals $8,400. Insurance runs $5,000 per year and maintenance estimated at $1,000 per month is on the high side. The Seller promotes family type half day charters but overnight, week end and diving trip charters could be added to increase the business.
