The seller had been local contractors for many years before they bought this business. When they bought the business in 2004, they jumped right in by gutting the store, remodeling and updating it completely. They put a new face on the business in the community, to include free project “classes” and remodeling seminars. Many local contractors felt they had an unfair advantage, so they stopped doing business here, going 15 miles to Corning or 18 miles to Creston. Despite their best efforts, they have not been able to overcome this situation. There are several building projects being started in the area that a new owner could be involved in.
