Offered for sale is a full service niche bookkeeping/accounting/taxation firm specifically targeted to serve the requirements of small business owners. The small business can be a proprietorship, partnership, private corporations or a limited partnership. The current owner has several successful businesses and wishes to reduce his day to day work load as he both moves location, and goes into semi retirement. Services Include: - Bookkeeping: includes primarily of general ledgers but also includes sub ledgers (Payroll, Source Deductions, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, investments) as required. - Accounting: includes reviews of all bookkeeping work performed plus year end closing entries plus preparation of business plans, evaluations, section 85s etc. as required. - Taxation: includes preparation of corporate and personal income tax returns. - Consulting: includes adding value to the clients business allowing them better growth opportunities plus negotiating and assistance with Canada Revenue Agency and other agencies plus assistance in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and other business ventures as required. The current owner is willing to fully train the new owner on how to run the business, and also assist in training in the conversion of the client files from his control over to the new owners control; but the basic accounting abilities should already be possessed by the new owner. The seller will provide extensive training and consultation, free of charge, to the purchaser for a minimum period of 6 months and further if suitable arrangements can be agreed to, to ensure a smooth and seamless transfer of the business.
