Since 1981 this full-service lawn maintenance and landscaping company has been serving the Northwest Houston area and has built a loyal customer base of 135 accounts, some of which have been with the company for more than 20 years. Since the owner does no advertising, all customers have been achieved through word-of-mouth. Revenues are 60% to 70% weekly lawn maintenance and 30% to 40% landscaping, color change outs, mulching, fertilizing and chemical applications. Three 3-man crews have regular routes, whereby the owner handles the phones, customer issues, invoicing, payroll, deposits, quotes, materials purchasing and greets the crew each morning. All 9 employees have been with the company from 10 to 28 years, one of which acts as foreman.
