This company is a full service provider of honing services. General Aviation and aerospace are the primary market focus of the company.
This is the only specialty machine shop in the area, dedicated to providing only honing services. 90% of its work is done on a Time and Material basis (non bid) with customers providing and delivering parts to be honed. They have worked on certain parts for more than 15 years because of the outstanding quality of its work. The great bulk of the company’s work is done for the general aviation and aerospace markets.
Presently there are two employees. The business is located in 1,600 square feet (plus a small office) portion of a one story manufacturing facility. The company has four horizontal hones that are in excellent condition and have been very well maintained. There are two vertical hones. One is computerized and both have capacity to hone parts up to 24 inches in length. They have also been well maintained. The portable honing stand can accommodate parts up to 6 feet in length.
