The non-operating, fully-permitted refinery is located in Central Utah adjacent to Interstate 70. The project has three potential revenue sources: Refining margins (crack spreads). Feedstock (unlimited supply of high wax content crude oil. Premium pricing on refined products due to lack of competition.
The refinery’s maximum capacity as it exists is 5,000 barrels per day. Unlimited crude source within two hours of plant. Permitted for up to 730,000 B.P.Y.
The plant is not currently operational, and a new owner would need to to invest another $8-14,000,000 into hydrocracker improvements to meet 2014 EPA Standards and start processing.
