Our artisans honor a 400 year legacy in woodworking and furniture-making. Using timeless traditions passed down by the original carpinteros who settled New Mexico in the 1600s, we handcraft each piece in the historic town of Santa Fe. Southwest Spanish Craftsmen excels in reproducing museum pieces of Spanish Provincial, Spanish Colonial and Territorial origins. The furniture is sold directly off the showroom floor as well as ordered with custom measurements, designs, features and/or stains. Accessories are used to decorate the showroom as well as provide an additional revenue stream from the many visitors to the downtown Santa Fe area. Property Features and Assets:
The sale would include any showroom furniture and accessories desired by the buyer and is represented herein at 75% of retail value. Showroom inventory is constantly changing and the actual price would adjust accordingly. The 4,000 square feet showroom is located in downtown Santa Fe within walking distance (800-900 feet) to the plaza and the many visitors strolling and shopping on foot. It is currently leased month to month with a longer term lease available. The 8,000 square feet manufacturing facility is located near the showroom.
Market Competition and Expansion:
The market exists throughout the United States but most of our market exists in the Santa Fe and Albuquerque area. Currently other target states include Colorado, Arizona, California, Illinois,Texas, New York, Oklahoma and Florida. Competitors include Santa Fe Country collection and Foreign Traders. Though these businesses sell furniture and accessories as we do, they do not handcraft custom pieces.. Our products are very different in style from our local competitors and of extremely better quality in both the craftsmanship and the detail.
