This product for rebar is a single compression polymer clamp that is designed to hold perpendicular and parallel rebar in place within a rebar grid of which concrete is sequentially poured. This product requires no tools, and accurately aligns the rebar and is nearly twice as strong as traditional wire ties. It is designed to work with the rebar to reduce the potential for dislodging. It is simple to use and requires very little prior instruction. There is a patent pending, CDOT's approval with a valid reference number and third party tensile strength tests that prove the product, a comprehensive product technical data sheet, as well as a TDS on the material used for this application. There are iges model files of each part and 3 prototypes completed. Tests have been performed to reduce material used.
