Seller interested in obtaining partner/investor. Seller would like working partner for investment. Partners started the company in a 1,200 square feet facility with no employees in 1997. First year revenues were approximately $10,000. By 2003, the company had 18 employees and occupied 4,500 square feet of space. Seller purchased the interest of partner and the gross revenues were $1,506,200. 2003 to 2005: The operation grew to 34 employees and additional space was rented to accommodate the growing operation. The 2005 gross revenues were $3,375,000. 2006 to present: There were 74 employees and 2006 gross revenues were $4,223,000. The year 2007 was the beginning of the housing downturn. We opened our own powder coating operation to save money. The cost of opening of that facility exceeded the budget. The gross revenues for 2007 were $3,802,000. In 2008, the housing market was in free fall and revenues dropped to $2,638,000. A plan was developed to begin to cut expenses and pay down accumulated debt. During 2009, continued to aggressively cut costs and pay down debt. Revenues were $1,871,000 but cost cutting measures stabilized the company and brought numbers back to black. By 2010, the economy had somewhat stabilized and revenues were $1,735,000. Debt pay down remained a top priority along with keeping expenses at a minimum. The expense of carrying the cost of the large office and manufacturing space required during the boom years was burdensome so we moved the entire operation to Mesa, Arizona, into a smaller facility and currently employ 21. Projected revenues for 2011 are $1,600,000 conservatively.
