Toppers. We make most of our food from scratch, too. Flour, sugar, yeast, tomatoes and other fresh ingredients come in the back door, and Toppers pizzas come out the front door! We're proud of that.
Chances are you are familiar with our signature item: Topperstix™. These are a big part of people's fanaticism for Toppers. We are flattered that they have been "copied" by many competitors. That's proof that we've got something special.
About 70% of all of our sales come from items that are not typically on the chain menus and only 30% of our sales are from traditional pizzas and sodas. See- we're not just another pretty pizza place.

One of Toppers Pizza's greatest strengths is its marketing, advertising, and brand awareness. Our local market strategy uses a variety of professionally designed marketing tools to promote your store. We offer a wealth of support for your local marketing campaigns, including newspaper ads, direct mail pieces, point-of-sale materials and a web site. Our brand really connects with people. We go into markets and find that people dying to have something unique and tasty. We're not going into cities thinking "We'll get a piece of the pie," we're going in thinking "We are about to be the market leader."

Give customers what they want! It sounds simple but we take a proactive approach to the products we serve. What sells today might not sell tomorrow. We strive to make sure our franchisees are well-prepared for changes in consumer demands.

It's not hard at all if you're willing to listen and learn from good people who know how to make it happen. Of course
we have the state-of-the-art computer system that tracks about everything known to man. Of
course we have a complete Operations Manual that weighs enough to set off a semi-truck scale. Of course we have dozens of training tools, a complete library of advertising materials, mind numbing financial planning tools and all the other stuff a good franchise system has to have.
These are important parts of our system, but what really sets us apart from other companies are our people and our values. We believe the best way to teach our business is with people who know it and have a passion for it. Our franchise support staff has a collective 80+ years in the pizza business. We know it and we know how to teach other people how to rock in it! We're not geniuses, we simply know what our customers want and we're fanatical about
giving it to them.
On August 9, 1991 Toppers Pizza was born in Champaign, Illinois as a unique hybrid company. Toppers founding vision was to provide customers with the best of both worlds: a unique, high-end pizza menu and fast delivery.
At Toppers we've built a systemized business method that is built around customer service. The support staff at Toppers World Headquarters in Whitewater, Wisconsin is there to assist each franchisee in opening and growing a successful business. In turn, each franchise owner is supplied with all the necessary tools to build a loyal customer following.
Toppers stands above the rest of the pack in the Pizza business because we use fresh, hand-prepared ingredients and offer a unique menu with products not typically found on competitors menus. We can't say exactly how it happened, but somewhere along the way we got very popular. Our customers are fanatics, really beyond what's reasonable based simply on our great service. Don't get us wrong; we
are proud of our made-from-scratch pizza and breadstix,
but the way people act you would think that we've been lacing our sauce with a special addictive ingredient!
In fact on December 31, 2005 approximately 120 fanatic customers, many who began to line up the night before, waited in twenty degree weather for the grand opening of our Wauwatosa, Wisconsin franchise. This is what Toppers is all about. Our core purpose is to build an extraordinary company that brings together families, friends and fanatics for food and fun.
