Curtis L. Stokes, Owner: Curtis Stokes most recently served as the vice presi
dent and Community Affairs manager at Fifth Third Bank. Prior to joining Fifth Third Bank in 2004, Curtis held management positions at Norwest Financial and was vice president and business client manager at Bank of America.
Curtis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova University.
His broad involvement in the community was a natural fit to serve as Community Affairs manager. On July 19, 2010, Curtis was appointed to the Tampa City Council where he served until March 31, 2011. He has served on numerous boards, including past Chair of the board for the American Cancer Society, a board member for University Area Community Development Corporation, a board member for Step Up For Students, Area Chairman for the United Negro College Fund. Curtis served as Chairman of the Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority.
Curtis was also selected for the “Top 40 Under 40” award in 2002 by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Curtis is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and attends Beulah Baptist Institutional Church.
