Wayback Burgers, America’s Favorite Hometown Burger Joint and one of the nation’s fastest-growing burger franchises, recently hosted a national fundraiser with its nonprofit partner, Boys & Girls Clubs of America and announced an exciting new Shake Naming Contest.

During the fundraiser event, on March 26, Wayback Burgers raised $15,685.79 for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. This fundraiser contributed to the successful first year of partnership in which Wayback Burgers raised a total of $151,160.78. Additionally, Wayback has been nominated for an award by the IFA for Franchising Gives Back.

The same day as the national fundraiser, Wayback Burgers’ announced a Shake Naming Contest in which members of Boys & Girls Clubs across the country were invited to submit their unique milkshake recipes and names. From this contest came what is believed by Wayback Burgers to be one of the most exciting and delicious milkshake flavors ever created - the Caramel Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake.

This tasty shake is one of the most satisfying milkshake flavors that the company has released simply because it has been so much fun to work with Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

During the Shake Naming Contest, the junior shake-masters went to work and came up with some great flavors. Wayback Burgers narrowed down the entries to the top three contenders and fans picked their favorite, which was the Caramel Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake.

Because of that, the Boys & Girls Club at Caring People Alliance at R.W Brown Community Center in Philadelphia won $5,000 from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the honor of having the shake creation available in Wayback Burgers restaurants for a limited time this summer.

The Caramel Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake will debut August 1 as a limited-time offer. As with all of Wayback Burgers’ milkshakes, it will be made the old-fashioned way: by hand, using only whole milk and hand-dipped ice cream.

“We are very proud of the success we’ve had with our partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America,” says John Eucalitto, CEO of Wayback Burgers. “We have made it a priority to support this organization because they are working hard every single day to help our nation’s children excel in school and in life. We look forward to building on this momentum as we continue our partnership. Not to mention, we are thrilled to share this new shake creation with our guests!”
