Broker Profile

Jeff Petersen was the President and Founder of Coal Creek Consulting, a firm that specializes in project management and infrastructure development for wireless telecommunication providers. During his years with Coal Creek, he grew the company to over twenty-five employees, and the company remains the gold standard in Arizona for wireless services. Jeff sold the company and attempted to retire in 2018. Jeff now lives in East Texas with Ann Marie, his wife of twenty plus years and they’re the proud parents of three fantastic children. The whole family has a love of the outdoors that includes backpacking, hunting, hiking and winter sports. Jeff exhibits extreme dedication and perseverance through personal challenges such as running 14 half-marathons in one year, hiking rim-to-rim-to-rim across the Grand Canyon (43 miles) in one day, skiing across Finland (270 miles) in 7 days and riding a mountain bike from Durango, Colorado to Moab, Utah. Jeff plays rhythm guitar along with Ann Marie, who sings lead vocals in a band called Daze Ja Vu’. Outside of his family, Jeff's most significant contribution is to Samaritan Aviation. Samaritan Aviation is a Christian/Humanitarian organization that operates multiple Cessna 206 float planes in the East Sepic Province of Papua New Guinea. Samaritan delivers supplies to aid posts across the region and provide life saving evacuation flights to the people of the area. They then share the gospel with the patients as they care for them during their recovery in the only hospital for the entire province. His involvement began when Samaritan Aviation rented office space from his company in Scottsdale, Arizona. In November of 2015, Jeff accompanied Founder and President Mark Palm on a two-week trip to Papua New Guinea. Jeff was moved by his visit and his interactions with the people of PNG as well as the Samaritan Aviation families serving in Papua New Guinea. Through his interaction with the Board, Jeff has assisted Samaritan Aviation with fundraising from major donors and strategic management consultation. Jeff's involvement with Transworld Business Advisors began when he contracted them to assist in the sale of Coal Creek Consulting. The transaction went so smoothly that he entered into an agreement to work with Transworld in the East Texas market. Jeff is committed to 'Good Deals for Good People'.
