All of our brokers have obtained the Certified Business Broker designation. The Company represents either the seller or the buyer in the transactions. Because we create an agency relationship with sellers, it is not possible for us to represent both the buyer and seller in a transaction. On some of the transactions Business Acquisitions was the broker by finding the buyers to match with the sellers. The Company also works successfully as the professional advisor for either the buyer or seller. Our teamwork approach successfully matches buyers and sellers using win-win methods to complete business acquisition transactions.

Jim Eaton is a Certified Business Broker, a CPA with co-operating real estate connections in many states. Jim Eaton’s prior 40+ years as a Certified Public Accountant has taught him that both parties’ advisers are an integral part of a successful sale or acquisition. Jim Eaton successfully sold his CPA firm in Houston in 2007 after taking the time to prepare the business for sale. He used a third party business broker to sell his CPA firm. His career includes working at several large Houston accounting firms and as an audit manager with the firm of Grant Thornton and his own CPA firm until 2007. He was also president of a 40 employee manufacturing company for 2 years and successfully completed a turn around.
