Company Overview
BroadCreek is a business brokerage and M&A advisory firm serving privately held companies. The firm specializes in the confidential sale of owner-operated and family-owned businesses — guiding owners through valuation, financial recasting, marketing, negotiation, and closing.
Beyond the sell-side, BroadCreek offers free business valuations, sources and qualifies buyers, and manages the entire sale process from listing to close. The firm also supports clients with capital raising, financial modeling, and accounting, and — through John's commercial real estate license — handles property valuation and sale-leaseback advisory when a transaction includes real estate. That combination lets BroadCreek prepare a business financially before it ever goes to market, maximizing the value an owner ultimately realizes.

Broker Profile
John M. Salony is an M&A Advisor and Business Broker with BroadCreek, LLC, serving business owners and families. He has advised on more than 20 completed transactions, ranging from a large Southeastern sawmill and a family-owned beachfront restaurant to a successful furniture and retail business, working with owners across manufacturing, hospitality and restaurants, retail, distribution, and professional services -from Main Street businesses through the lower-middle market.
John brings an institutional-grade skill set to owner-operated businesses. Before founding his advisory practice, he served as Vice President in the global corporate investment banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and held financial-analysis roles at several Fortune 50 and smaller companies. His expertise spans business valuation, market analysis, deal negotiation, financial analysis, and arranging buyer financing. As a former small-business owner himself, John understands firsthand the work and sacrifice behind building a company — and what it takes to sell one well.
Helping sellers transition out of their businesses and realize the value of their life's work is both his passion and privilege. John removes the weight of a sale through a structured, confidential, project-managed process: he handles the listing and marketing of your business end to end, brings forward multiple qualified buyers, and guides the sale from valuation to close. His commission is based solely on performance — he is paid when you get results.
Owners considering a sale work with John to understand the options that meet their financial and legacy goals, position the business's unique strategic value, maintain confidentiality to reduce competitive risk, reach the buyers who will pay the most, and arrange financing to get deals closed. Contact John for a confidential, no-obligation consultation.
John has an MBA and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Salisbury State University.
