Matt Coletta is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of M&A Business Advisors. With over 25 years of experience in the Business Brokerage and M&A industry, Matt has earned the confidence and respect of both buyers and sellers he has represented as well has his fellow brokers. During this time Matt has represented numerous Buyers and Sellers in a wide range of industries with revenue from $1,000,000 to $25,000,000. These include Manufacturing, Service, Distribution, Health Care, Construction, Automotive, Technology, E-Commerce and Food Related Businesses. Buyers have ranged from private individuals to private equity groups. Each buyer or seller receives the same personalized, quality service from Matt no matter how large or small. As an active member, Board Member, and former President of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and the Southern California Business Brokers Network (SCBBN), Matt has access to a wide network of resources. Matt has been a licensed Real Estate Broker since 1989. Matt's credentials include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance and a Designation Degree in Real Estate Development from SDSU / UCLA. Additionally, Matt has earned the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the International Business Brokers Association. The CBI designation is granted to a select group of individuals who are seasoned in the industry, have completed over 40 hours of course work including financial analysis, pricing/valuation, legal and tax implications related to the sale or purchase of a business and have passed a comprehensive exam. With this designation, comes the guarantee that you will be working with an individual who is specifically trained and has met all the requirements to be a professional and knowledgeable intermediary. In 2017, the IBBA awarded Matt the Lifetime CBI Designation and the Chairman's Circle Award. Additionally, Matt has earned the Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI) from M&A Source. The M&A Source is the world’s largest international organization of experienced, dedicated merger and acquisition intermediaries representing the middle market. Matt has also earned the designation of Certified Business Broker (CBB) from the California Association of Business Brokers where he has served on the Board of Directors since 2013, Committee Chair and is an instructor for the CBB re-certification course.
