Raquel Afriat, Owner: 'I chose VR because of their global network of full-time professionals and tools that they provide to help me succeed not only in Miami/Coral Gables but all of Florida as a top office.' Raquel is a native of Strasbourg, France, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Tourism. She describes herself as an 'international woman' speaking several different languages including English, Spanish, French, and other foreign languages making her an asset to the diverse Miami community. She has a passion for discovering cultures, interacting with new people and expanding her work ethic. Her career has revolved around being a resident manager for a French tour operator and then working in several countries such as Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, and the Caribbean. She started her own travel agency in Martinique expanding it to four offices as well as opening one in Miami Beach, FL. She successfully sold both businesses and decided to take on a new opportunity as an interactive and dynamic business broker, licensed in Florida.
