This business is a wholesale distributor for primarily domestic OEM parts sold to installers, fleets and repair shops. The business does not sell retail parts like most of the big box competitors, in an effort to insure that they won’t be taking any business away from the installers and garages they service.

The business derives its competitive advantage through affiliation driven comprehensive purchasing power, superior delivery services, and a strong customer service commitment. They stock a full range of auto parts that includes brakes, steering & suspension components, power transmission parts and more. Their order fill rate is consistently greater than 97%. The operation is able to meet its rigorous delivery schedule with their fleet of 14 company owned vehicles.

The warehouse facility is approximately 12,000 square feet, including some limited space allocated to sales/administration. Current rent on the warehouse space is $4,350 per month on a gross lease that includes NNN charges. The current lease has three years remaining with an excellent opportunity for a qualified Buyer to extend the lease at the time of a sale.

The Seller has not been active in the direct management of the business from its inception and he continues to monitor operations on a remote basis. The day to day operations are the responsibility of the General Manager who has held that position with the company since opening in 2004. The General Manager is paid $70,000 per years, plus receives the use of a vehicle & insurance. The other staff is comprised of one salaried outside sales person @ $48,000 per year and several hourly employees: (3) inside sales @ $17-$18; (2) warehouse @ $16-$17; and, (14) drivers @ $13-$14.
