Property Features and Assets:
The car wash sites are located near the main shoppettes (convenience-stores) on the military installations and have been upgraded from standard self-wash or touchless bays into automated in-bay tunnel car washes. The real property (land, real estate) is owned by the Federal Government and does not have any property taxes (that's right, no taxes!). You get full access to the improved lot to own, operate, and manage your car wash and you get privileged access to the micro-economic military community who lives and works on the base.
Market Competition and Expansion:
You have the only car wash on the base and you do not have any competition on the base. Military families, Department of the Army civilians, base support personnel, and visitors form a unique micro-economic model that often surpasses those of local civilian township economies. Your car wash will have complete and unique exposure to the base community. There are similar car wash site opportunities at every military base where AAFES is present. Currently, there are four completed car wash sites at various military base locations, three car wash sites under construction, and two car was sites under contract. You can own one, several, or all of them, plus be granted right of first refusal on any future sites to be built. This is not a franchise. You will be an independently owned and operated business, but there are certain contracting obligations which must be followed when working within government contracts that you will be expected to support and commit to, and you will be operating under the master contract agreement held by the Owner, which grants you the rights to own and operate the car wash facilities.
