We own and operate two corporate locations in California and have four franchisees in other parts of the country. At the retail level, our stores do two things. First, we bake amazing bread and baked goods. Our locations enjoy repeat business from our local communities buying our fresh-baked goods. Second, our locations operate a deli/café attached to the bakery. The upside to this opportunity is significant, including franchise fee revenues and ongoing royalty revenue growth as new franchisees are brought into the system. We support our franchisee partners with 3rd-party financial assistance, site selection assistance, lease negotiation assistance, cooperative advertising, product cost reductions, and extensive onboard training. The reason we are selling it is part of an exit strategy moving towards retirement. The foundation of this business is solid. The two company-owned locations are profitable. The franchisees are profitable, and many have been with us for a long time. Essentially, there are two businesses included in this sale. First, there are two corporate-owned bakeries/cafes located in southern CA near the coast. Second, there is the franchise company. The franchise company could be redomiciled to another state. The asking price includes both the corporate operating retail locations along with the franchise company.
