Business Overview:

This fantastic operation has been in business for 34 great years. It performs injection molding services and manufactures precision plastic parts. They can do everything from high quality injection molding and secondary services to performing product sub-assembly.

The facility is divided into four areas: Production, Assembly & Second Operation, Warehouse Storage, and Mold Storage.

Production Area
They have 19 computer controlled injection molding machines that range from 35-300 tons. There is a host of secondary equipment including, but not limited to, hoppers, loaders, dryers, grinders, thermolators, conveyors and temperature controllers to equip the machines to optimize job needs.

Assembly & Secondary Operation Area
The Customer can request a quote how to add value to your molded components by supplying the products a sub-assembly or finished product.

Warehouse Storage
The Warehouse storage consists of plenty of room for finished goods, raw material, and packaging to ensure products are ready when needed.

Mold Storage Area
The Molds are identified and logged by having individual identification numbers and palletized for quick reference. The Molds are disassembled as necessary for a thorough cleaning prior to being run. They are also cleaned and inhibitors and preservatives are applied prior to storage. This care ensures that your mold is ready for service.

A General Overview of Operations Performed:
• Injection Molding
• Mold Design & Procurement
• Sub-Assembly
• Insert & Over-Molding
• Resin Selection
• Hot Stamping
• Packaging

Injection Molding
Injection molding utilizes a vast array of thermoplastic materials, in pellet form, that are loaded into a hopper and fed by means of a rotating screw within a heated barrel. The material melts to a molten state so that the resin can be injected into a mold cavity and then cooled to create a specific product.

Mold Design & Procurement
The Company collaborates with local mold manufacturers in order to offer the support needed to take a project from concept to market. This is done across the areas of part development, mold design, procurement and testing.

Sub-Assembly
Sub-assembly allows services beyond manufacturing by procuring or incorporating customer-furnished materials and assembling them to customer specification. This value-added service provides components that are ready for use.

Insert & Over-Molding
Insert and over-molding is performed by either manufacturing or procuring various components to be used either during or after the injection molding process. This method blends two dissimilar materials to form a customized component.

Resin Selection
A product’s end use requirements can be reviewed to aid in narrowing down material selections to provide resin options that are not only cost effective, but also meet the structural integrity and functionality of the part.

Hot Stamping
Hot Stamping is a decorating process. Parts are placed onto tooling fixtures while a heated die applies direct pressure to foil tape to transfer a custom artwork to the part.

Packaging
Packaging is tailored to meet customer requirements, whether that be in bulk form, layer packed, divided cells, bagged, Kanban or other packaging methods.

The Company is AS-9003 Compliant and has the following Registrations
• ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations)
• DDTC (Directorate of Defense Trade Controls)
• JCP (Joint Certification Program)
• SAM (System Award Management)

DoD RFQs generally take the form of long-term agreements (LTAs), and they currently have several in place across various programs.

They also offer their services to several non-defense entities, including manufacturers of in-plant conveyor systems, electronics, and various meter covers and boxes. Additionally, the ubiquity of plastic components in everyday life creates myriad opportunities for growth. The firm maintains a highly loyal customer base and has remained profitable for the last thirty four years.

This business is primed for continued success and growth thanks to its talented staff, loyal clientele, production expertise, and ability to increase its workload and expand its facilities.
