During the 30-day transition period, before the NEW application is submitted to VDH, it is important that all due diligence is fully completed. This includes ensuring the business is in good standing, confirming operational readiness under your structure, and completing all checks related to staffing, compliance, and administrative continuity. Once your due diligence is complete, we will submit the transfer paperwork to VDH to begin their expedited review. I would prepare for an inspection but based on purchasing type in SOME cases state departments waive them. Again during the transition most assets that are being transferred such as policies and procedures and other organizational will be turn-key as it is in good standing and used for the successful inception of the business license. This will be a collaborative effort.
