This profitable, medium-sized accounting firm has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to local individuals and businesses in Arizona for almost 20 years. Founded in 2007, the company works with a wide range of clients with varying degrees of tax complexity. They provide accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, individual tax preparation, and tax planning services, and pride themselves on offering superior customer service. The book of business consists of both corporate and individual clients, with the bulk of revenue coming from tax preparation services during tax season. Revenue has steadily increased YoY, with a 40% increase in gross sales from 2023-2024. The seller works full-time in the business, and has a full-time bookkeeper. Basic office equipment is included, including: desks, tables, chairs, computers, printers, file cabinets; Actual Cash Value of equipment is ~$5,000. The business operates out of a leased space of 1,200 square feet, and has 4 separate rooms with a front reception area. Scaling the business is a matter of increasing outbound new business development, expanding corporate tax service, developing more monthly recurring services, and increasing pricing. The Seller will provide up to 4 weeks of training and orderly turnover to the new owner, at 20 hours per week. They are offering this for both the client side of the business (i.e. introductions to key corporate & individual customers), as well as the operations side of the business (i.e. payroll, working with the accounting software, etc.).
