This Independent, Well Established Urgent Care Practice has served over 130,000 patients, not including Pre-employment, Sports and DOT physicals, TB and urine drug testing. The ideal buyer would either have a part time or full time primary care practice running concurrently with an NP or P.A. to handle the UC patients. This would even out the census throughout the year. The business is growing and recently introduced Opioid and other Substance abuse treatments including Vivitrol injections. A close relationship with the Salesman from Alkermes and a pharmacist who is able to expedite pre authorization from Medi Cal is helping this along. The practice is open 7 days a week with most patients covered by IEHP. IEHP provides free advertising on their web site and has an “Ask a Nurse” who routinely sends traffic to the office. If the patient has IEHP “Direct” instead of being affiliated with an IPA, the Provider is able to send any referral or order any exam that a PCP can order. The Owner has recently signed a contract with a new Family Practice Residency in Temecula. The Owner and office staff have a close relationship with the contracting department of IEHP and the owner is currently on the Credentialing and Quality Management Committees. The business has good relationships with local physicians who routinely send their overflow patients to their Clinic. They have a mixed staffing model with a part-time physician, in addition to the physician owner, three part-time physician assistants, and a nurse practitioner. The Owner is a Preceptor for both the P.A. and FNP programs at the Loma Linda Medical Center. They also have Medical Assistant students throughout the year.
