How We Started
MidnighTreats was founded by Johnny Nguyen shortly after graduating from James Madison University and aims to change the stereotypes around plant-based and vegan foods. Diana Nguyen fell in love with the mission (and the cookies!) and left a career in early childhood education to join the team. Diana and Johnny both share a love for animals and our environment which is what fueled years of testing and developing recipes that don’t require any animal ingredients and are delicious. What started in Johnny’s mom’s kitchen is now a multi-location business fighting for a social cause that affects every one of us and our future generations. We believe a successful business can be built alongside creating an environmentally friendly and peaceful world!
