For nearly 15 years, our family has been serving the Delray Beach community and perfecting Spanish Tapas, Traditional Paellas, our Signature Sangrias and refreshing cocktails. Our Story
Our story began with Abuela Emilia in Alicante, Spain, who was one of the earliest celebrated female chefs. She taught her generations of family recipes to her son, Cristobal Parra. In his mid-20s, "Papa" came to the states and began working in kitchens throughout the Northeast. His culinary career took off as he expanded his skills & opened many popular restaurants. Following the sun & fun of South Florida he relocated and opened our first Papa’s Tapas™ Restaurant in 2008. Today, Papa is a beloved local icon, cherished for our authentic recipes and inviting atmosphere. Now in 2024, Papa and Cristina, his daughter, are creating the next chapter in the Papa's Tapas story with opportunities to franchise across the world.
