Proudly serving Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties for over a decade

[Lansdale, PA] – Home care provider Home Helpers and Direct Link, with offices in Lansdale, Newtown and Bethlehem, PA, is proudly celebrating its 10-year anniversary.  The office was originally launched in 2004 by North Wales resident, Frank Esterle, and his brother-in-law, Doylestown resident, Gregory Scheck.  Since its opening, Home Helpers has grown from a handful of employees to nearly 250 today.  The two entrepreneurs expanded beyond their initial territory of Central Bucks and Montgomery Counties and Northeast Philadelphia when they added a third partner, Tom Krupp of Doylestown, in 2008.  Over the past decade, Home Helpers has had the pleasure of serving thousands of families across the northern portions of the Delaware Valley and, beginning in 2010, the Lehigh Valley. Their focus is simple: by exceeding customer expectations and delivering remarkable care and service, their agency will help make life easier for their clients during an emotional time when care is needed most.  Their goal is to deliver care just as family members would for their loved ones, when they cannot be there.

This award-winning office provides a broad range of in-home services for seniors, those recovering from illness or injury, and people facing life-long challenges or disabilities. A winner of the International Franchise Association’s “Franchisee of the Year Award” in 2011, this group of owners operates its business based on three simple principles: outstanding service, unparalleled support of its staff and clients and active owner involvement in day-to-day operations.

“We feel strongly that we are all in this together, as a team, and that relationships are critical to our success as a company. We never desired to be disengaged, silent partners.  We believe that by being actively engaged with our staff, our clients, and our referral partners, and maintaining personal relationships,” says Esterle, “we have differentiated Home Helpers from its competitors.”

This agency also received the 2014 Home Helpers Pioneer Award. This award is given to owners who have made a difference in their community through innovation and forward thinking. “By exemplifying exceptional creativity, these three entrepreneurs have positively grown not only their business, but also the Home Helpers & Direct Link brands overall,” says Emma Dickison, President of the franchise system, headquartered in Cincinnati.

“So many people are feeling the strain of trying to care for aging loved ones, while simultaneously juggling a career and raising a family,” said Scheck.  “We’re thrilled to help ease the burden for our clients and their family caregivers.”

Home Helpers and Direct Link offers complimentary in-home consultations and works closely with clients to individually tailor flexible care plans which meet their specific needs and budgets. Home Helpers’ caregivers are employees of the agency, and are scheduled on a recurring basis with flexible timeframes.
