Falmouth, Maine has the first franchise of Mindy's Munchies - a successful candy store started by a stay-at-home mom from New Jersey.

Mindy Mosca started Mindy's Munchies in New Jersey back nearly 20 years ago. It's known for its chocolate-covered yummies. According to PR Newswire, they have grown tremendously and now have their first franchised store that opened in Falmouth, Maine back in September 2024.

What is Mindy's Munchies in Falmouth, Maine?

Mindy's Munchies is known for its chocolate-covered strawberries, pretzels, cookies, fudge, and more. Marlo Murphy, the Falmouth store's owner wanted to fill a void she saw in Falmouth for sweet treats and coffee options. She offers Coffee by Design coffee and early this year wants to branch out with some baked goods and espresso drinks too.

Marlo told the Press Herald that she thought of opening in Scarborough, but that said,

Falmouth called out to us. We were trying to get in an area where there were a lot of kids. The community has been very welcoming. It was the right fit for our product.

They have a 700-square-foot party room for kids’ birthday parties or other fun things.

Whatever you do - you have to have the chocolate-dipped marshmallows.

I had some super delicious treats from Mindy's Munchies, but the marshmallows with caramel and crispies stopped me cold! They are stupid good. They are dangerous and wonderful and a must-try when you go. Good news, Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
