Website Closers® presents an opportunity to acquire an Amazon-based eCommerce business in the evergreen sector targeting Children, Games and the Outdoors. For 4 years this internet company has been growing its presence on Amazon, introducing over 30 SKUs focused on the wellbeing of children. These products include Amazon’s Choice memory foam sleeping/camping mats, weighted blankets in multiple sizes and colors, and a patent pending tree swing. All products are award-wining and are highly ranked on Amazon, with the memory foam mats topping out at with an Amazon Ranking of #9 in its category. And with trademarks in both China and the US, the brand is secure.

The company is 100% virtual with no office space required. Inventory is stored between FBA and a 3PL partner further negating any need for direct warehouse storage.

Management of the business is divided into 3 primary parts:

• Sourcing and Logistics – handling everything needed from beginning a new order at the factory to getting the products into Amazon and staying in stock.
• Marketing – Handling everything related to product layouts, copywriting, social media, product promotions and customer relations.
• Amazon Account administration – Handling product ranking, PPC, amazon issues, listing modifications

All three tasks are managed by a husband and wife team to produce a great outcome for customers of the company. The company imports all products from China and has multiple backup suppliers in case of disruption. Management has currently secured new terms with one primary partner to supply its leading memory foam mattresses for 20% less than in 2021. The effects of this decreased COGS should result in a 2022 earnings increase of approximately $70k, all other things remaining equal. It should be noted that this decrease in COGS is not currently being factored into the 2022 forecast as a conservative measure.

Importantly, there is very little seasonality in sales due to the company’s diverse product mix. The products balance each other nicely throughout the year since some of the products do very well in the winter months and other do well in the summer. The saucer swing and the foam mattress do very well in both the summer and in the winter, while the weighted blanket and the inflatable punching bag sell very well in the winter. All products sell well both for personal us and as gifts.

All products are tested for CPSIA and meet all necessary regulations in the US. The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) is a United States Government law restricting levels of hazardous materials in products imported or made within the US, especially those for children.

Most of the company’s customers fall in the 25 – 55 age groups. They have also recently had an increase in the 55+ age category, as many grandparents buy swings and inflatable punching bags for their grandchildren. This is a fantastic target to explore further as they are more willing to leave great reviews and interact with the brand when needed, as well as tending to have more disposable income than young families might.

Huge growth opportunities are completely untapped – expanding further into US markets via its Shopify site, launching a marketing campaign and tapping social media, breaking into Big Box stores and other retail outlets, creating a blog to drive viewership, and SEO, just to name a few.
