Business Overview:

This $1mm revenue Corporate Catering and Delivery company has been a fixture of its community for almost 20 years. It is open most days of the week but weekends are exclusively for catering orders. The Company's catering clients are mostly regular corporate customers in construction, food manufacturing (Over 9 departments order from the company) and Fortune 500... Its catering services include hot and cold meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Company does some onsite cooking and can provide servers/bartenders when needed but that is not its primary emphasis.

Both the catering and the onsite deli are more seasonal businesses. Catering is busiest from the end of August to the end of December with a couple of spikes in the spring and early summer. The deli is becoming a much more stable source of income, largely due to the growth in small delivery orders to offices and other similar orders. Property Features and Assets:

The Company operates out of a charming 150-year-old building that is owned by the sellers. The building is in very good repair and includes an apartment that the sellers rent to a couple of tenants. The sellers also recently purchased the empty lot across the street for parking and can include that in the sale, or rent it to new owners. The sellers would prefer to sell the building and lot along with the business assets but are open to renting/leasing it to a qualified buyer.

Market Competition and Expansion:

The Company does very little marketing besides its daily phone recordings that state the daily specials and any special offers as well as placing the daily specials on Facebook. Some of the schools and churches publish coupon books that the Company occasionally buys spots in, but it only does so for its customers. All of the Company's business is repeat or referral. It has 4.5 stars on yelp out of 60 reviews, and 5 stars on google out of 100+ reviews. The Company used to pay Yelp for some advertising, but it didn’t see enough activity generated so it stopped. The Company has a general website that lists the menu options and contact information. It also has online ordering enabled powered by The Company’s POS system which has been steadily improving since its introduction. There are a lot of opportunities to expand the business.
