Formed in 2003 the Company is a leading innovator in the audio industry with innovative proprietary products, with a diverse customer base in both consumer and professional commercial markets. Existing business is approximately 90% OEM to other manufacturers and 10% direct sales to individual customers. Once designed into a customer’s application, sales typically continue for a long time. Some have been customers for 8-12 years. Made in USA is a strong factor in many customer’s buying decisions and we have the highest USA content of anyone. Not only is this patriotic, but it allows shorter lead times, lower MOQ, customization, local support, and higher quality.

Customers are acquired thru referrals by existing customers, direct email and telephone contact, trade show attendance, and word of mouth. The Company enjoys an excellent reputation in the audio community as expressed in many in line forums and discussion groups.

The largest opportunity for growth is in ramping up the sales and marketing efforts. This was not something the existing owner pursued very much. With the existing model line and facilities, the annual sales could double with a strong push in this area.

The philosophy of the owner has always been that disclosing proprietary designs in patent applications is an open invitation to bad actors overseas. A better approach is thru industrial secrets locked in the details of the design itself, including fine details of PCB architecture and locked-in micro controller code.

The company has invested in Underwriters Laboratory (UL) approval for its products. This provides an extra level of safety, security and freedom from liability to the products. No direct competitor offers this.

The Company had its first commercial sale in late 2003. Local vendors are used for sheet metal fabrication and finishing, and printed circuit board assembly. They are designed to be easy to fabricate using industry standard raw materials and professionally documented designs. Its products are manufactured in the most cost-effective manner as the fabrication of the various parts required for its systems can be performed by most metal fabricators. The Company has arrangements with suppliers allowing for products to be sourced from multiple locations.

Among the Company’s intellectual property differentiation is a state of the art subwoofer amplifier that achieves unprecedented power output at extremely high efficiency. Modern amplifiers use switching power supplies and amplifiers run by microcontrollers. The Company’s products are unique in that they make purpose-built sub amps that can provide full power for a musically significant length of time. Flyweight competitor amplifiers can’t keep up. Signal processing for the amplifiers are achieved with proprietary Digital Signal Processing. This allows complete equalization and protection of the loudspeaker. Customers rely on the Company’s expertise to optimize the complete system for maximum fidelity, sound pressure level and reliability.

The company is able to achieve high levels of quality control to meet Clients’ desired products by dealing only with suppliers who have met the Company’s requirements and have, over time, produced products that have met or exceeded the Company’s specifications.
