Since 2015, we have been providing walk-in emergency and  non-emergency health care for residents of the Greater Chicago area through two locations; Shorewood and Joliet, IL. We are a female-owned healthcare practice founded by  two experienced Nurse Practitioners who understand the importance of quality, walk-in care. Our qualified board  certified health professionals are ready to provide urgent care for any non-life threatening illness – with no appoint-ment necessary. We also offer extended hours so that our patients can receive the care they need when they need it.

Over the last six years, we have seen our practice grow – and the demand for walk-in care increase significantly. Many times we have been asked when we would open up clinics in other localities. Our Story

Founders Amy Vertin and April Kubinski knew each other through the nursing community. Both worked in local emergency rooms and attended the same graduate school. Their parallel career paths took them through a time as nurses at an urgent care facility, and then both became Nurse Practitioners. They discovered that their respective roles and responsibilities were increasing and that they, in effect, were running companies for other people – which led them to the conclusion that the time would be right to start their own business.
