At $21.5 billion, the U.S. hobby, game and toy market is 26.8% of the world's toy market. That's worth more than the music ($10.4 billion) and movie industry ($9.5 billion) combined! 

The United States hobby, game and toy budget works out to approximately $280 per person, which is 14 times greater than the $20 per person the Chinese spend in this market, even though, globally, 4 out of 5 products are manufactured in China. 

Recessions have damaged many industries, including housing, education and retail, but the hobby, game and toy industry continues to enjoy a strong performance. Through thick and thin, our industry is a staple in the happy family's household.
