Founded by Jeff and Angie Cantrell, along with their two children, the business has amazing flavor and even better profit margins. The menu has been carefully selected to minimize waste and to allow for the greatest efficiencies. The ingredients are of the highest quality and the cooking is done outside to reduce equipment load and up-front investment.

Mutt & Jeff’s Smoke House intends to create a nationally branded franchise concept by establishing consistent methods of operation, protected intellectual property and recipes, a standardized trailer, list of equipment, and policies and procedures that ensure high quality product and customer service, and a strong franchise support structure.

Our Support

We help our franchisees deliver a southern-style BBQ experience with high-quality food to customers with support from operations to marketing and ongoing research and development.

• Operational Support - We will provide ongoing training and support in many areas, including unit operations, maintenance, customer-service techniques, product order, pricing guidelines and administrative procedures.
• Marketing Support - We will coordinate development of advertising materials and strategies, consumer marketing plans and materials.
• Comprehensive Training - An extensive dual-phase initial training program will help set up our franchise partners with all the knowledge they need to run a Mutt & Jeff’s Smoke House.
