The Birthday Suit was born in 2011 as the brainchild of Stacey Laricchia. After working in the waxing for many years, she saw a void in the $20 billion personal waxing and nail salon industry - The need for a waxing spa that didn’t just focus on sales and volume, but focused on customer service and providing an “affordable luxury” for clients. She saw a need for a business that treated their employees like family and not salespeople. A need for a place where estheticians could come to work and be estheticians, not sales people who are trained to wax. She saw a need for a waxing spa that was created for everyday people - the stay-at-home mom and dad, the professional, the Dr., the lawyer, the server, your neighbor… A waxing spa that was both comfortable and was inviting. A place that provided exceptional service and used the best products, while remaining affordable for everyone. Along with her husband, Jason, they opened The Birthday Suit and have remained a successful staple in the waxing market ever since.

In the 10 years since we started The Birthday Suit we have done all of the leg work in building and developing both a successful business model and a successful brand. We have learned what works and doesn’t work in the industry and have perfected a system to be able to offer exceptional service standards at an affordable price point, establishing ourselves as an industry leader. Our franchisees not only get the Birthday Suit name, but also our years of business experience and expertise in the waxing industry.

The Birthday Suit carries a full line of our own skin care for both body and face. This includes our two hero products; our Ingrown Hair Serum and Intensive Calming Serum. Our exclusive use of hard wax for all services is second to none. We will only use the best products on our clients. We also try to stay “in the know” of what is popular in the beauty industry and will periodically add skin care “Must Haves” to our product lineup. We are constantly adding products to The Birthday Suit’s skincare line so make sure you are following us on social media to see all of our new product announcements and launches.

Our family friendly atmosphere is perfect for the mom or dad-on-the-go, with a children’s “lounge” located just past our reception area. This room features kid friendly movies and TV shows, coloring books, and much to keep them occupied while mom or dad is having “wax time”. As working parents, we tried to make it as convenient as possible for everyone to maintain their waxing routines so all of our locations have a children’s lounge. We also stay “in the know” of what is popular in the beauty industry and will periodically add skin care “Must Haves” to our product lineup. The Birthday Suit’s skin care line, created by a team of chemists, has evolved to offer products not only for post-wax for the body but for facial waxing treatments as well. We then included body & face washes & scrubs along with treatments to assist our clients who still shaved in certain areas. With no harsh chemicals, our products have proven safe & effective for our clients with even the most sensitive skin or sensitive skin conditions.

All of our stores are built with a locally-influenced design and each strongly supports local artists and charities.  This makes for a comfortable environment that is an extension of the community that it serves. The pricing for our services are simple and there are no hard-sell membership plans like there are at most other spa service providers. The Birthday Suit is currently operating in Las Vegas and Minnesota with stores opening soon in Arizona and Utah. We are focusing our franchise expansion in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas & Colorado at this time.
