Property Features and Assets:

Gross Lease Suitability of Current Location: Lease agreement has been renewed through July 2024. Most suitable location I have found due to ample parking in the rear of the building. It is located near the primary entrance to a very large neighborhood where we do a significant amount of business.

Market Competition and Expansion:

Our competitors are categorized into two groups. The primary competitor is the national franchises such as The Maids, Merry Maids, and Two Maids and a Mop. We are able to compete on price with these companies since we do not pay a franchise fee. The secondary competitor is the high-end individual services. We offer the same reliability and guarantee that the franchises do, which sets us apart from other individual services that do not always show up for their scheduled cleanings. We do lose some homes to these services based purely on price.I do not consider the low-end individual services as a direct competitor since they compete solely on price. What Sets Business Apart from the Competition We are uniquely positioned in that we offer the same high-touch services as the large franchises, however we are able to offer better pricing since I spent the upfront cost of building our systems and technology and aren't required to pay the ongoing franchise fees which are typically around 10% of revenue. We also do not have to worry about exclusive territories and can expand to any suitable market. Three Primary Areas for Growth: Marketing - Create a consistent online advertising campaign with an experienced ad buyer. Each team should be able to perform an initial clean at least once a week. Acquisition - Roll in smaller cleaning companies that are unable to bounce back after pandemic. Most cost effective since you don't have to perform the initial clean. Expand Location - We are able to service the majority of suburbs south of Birmingham. A second location in Trussville would provide enough overlap with our eastern clients to have customers from day one and allow expansion into a market we do not service. Expand Services - We do not offer overnight cleaning, carpet cleaning, or use our customer base for related home services, i.e. pest control, lawn care, window cleaning.
