The Company was established in the 1950’s as a specialty welding and fabrication shop. Eventually the focus turned to steam boilers. In the early 1970’s the seller became a boiler sales representative for Superior Boiler Works of Hutchinson, Kansas. Together they designed a portable boiler for drilling rigs called "The Oilfield Special."

Since that time, the Company has become the regional leader for boiler assembly, repair, and maintenance. The Company repairs and services boilers in hospitals, schools, banks, and office buildings, but the specialty and primary focus has always been in the drilling industry and portable steam boilers for heating drilling rigs and fluids.

The Company is highly experienced in every aspect of a Scotch Marine Boilers; electrical, plumbing, pipe fitting, flame safeguard, refractory work, re-tubing, acidizing, sandblasting, welding and fabrication. The Company carries an ASME/NBIC “R” stamp which allows them to repair code stamped pressure vessels. The Company is the regional representative for Industrial Combustion Burners and United Brass Works Valves.

The facility consists of a 12,600 square feet standalone steel building located on a 1.5 acre lot. The building is equipped with a 25 ton overhead crane, 4 extra large overhead bay doors, in-floor heating, in-floor drain system, 3,200 square feet offices, break room, conference room, parts inventory, shipping area, dry storage, and employee locker room. There is a standalone boiler room with a steam boiler that is used to preheat pressure vessels for code welding and testing. The boiler can burn waste oil or diesel fuel. There is a standalone compressor shed that is skid mounted and also houses the sand blasting equipment. The compressor shed is plumbed into the shop to provide shop air, but remains completely self-contained. The adjacent 5.5 acre lot is used to store equipment bulk equipment is available for sale or lease.
