Market Competition and Expansion:

Sales are 80% local, 10% within the three states that the Company serves, and 10% regional. Sales are won in a variety of methods: fixed bid, time and materials, and maintenance contracts. On fixed-bid projects, Quality Mechanicals usually is competing with two or three other bidders. The Company’s success rate in such situations is 25% to 30%. The Company focuses on winning business within two hours of its location to minimize travel costs and maximize competitive pricing. From Oct. 1, 2019, through Aug. 10, 2020, the Company billed 41 different customers. No large customers were lost or added in the last 18 months that will materially affect the business.
