We are the Pioneers of the Turn, Kick Reach® Swimming Technique.  Our program was founded and developed in 1976 by one of its owners.  We created the proprietary Turn, Kick Reach® swimming technique becoming one of the first to recognize the need for a survival swimming program focusing on drowning prevention for children under the age of three.  Previously programs for this age group were nonexistent while this was the age group with the highest drowning statistics.  Statistics show that drowning is the leading cause of death in children under the age of five.

Baby Otter’s innovative curriculum is designed specifically to fit the needs and abilities of children as young as eight months old how to save themselves if they should fall into the water.

Our Diverse Menu of Programs.
While Baby Otter Andre Dawson Aquatic center is state and nationally certified for its Turn, Kick Reach® curriculum, we have developed many different program levels for children as well as adults while increasing revenue streams for our licensees.  Our beginning strokes program teaches extended swimming techniques such as fundamental stroke skills and floating on your back as a breathing technique.  Our more advanced stroke classes include rhythmic breathing, backstroke, breaststroke, elementary back stroke and diving to the bottom of the pool to retrieve toys. Each program is professionally constructed to aid in the development in all levels of swimming techniques. All of these programs have been successfully taught to special needs children.

Low Initial Investment.
Baby Otter Andre Dawson Aquatic Center’s low initial investment and low monthly fees allow our licensees to see a return on their investment in a minimum of a month.

By providing mobile instruction, the Baby Otter Andre Dawson Aquatics Center offers our clients, both children and adults, the convenience of at-home instruction. Familiar surroundings can deliver a sense of calm for both children and adults.

Revenue Streams.
Baby Otter Works on Curriculum Based Five Day Programs. Additional programs and services are listed below. 

• Each Five Day Private Program has a cost of $385.00, included in this is Turn, Kick Reach®, Turn, Kick Reach Review, Beginning Strokes (all three levels), Adult Swim lessons.
• Semi Private for beginning strokes only $295.00 per child in a group of two. 
• Each Group Class has a cost of $185.00 per student 1x a week for a month on Saturdays. 
• Otter Babies Water Introduction has a cost of $147.00 each child 1x a week for a month on Saturdays.
• Swim Parties: Lifeguard & instructor $290.00 up to 15 kids for 3 hours, additional children $9.00 per child. Lifeguard ONLY-($60.00 per hour)
• Home Assessment packages : Gold-$249.00 Silver $149.00 Bronze $99.00

1. What’s included with your Baby Otter Andre Dawson Aquatic Center License:
   At Baby Otter University we offer hands on curriculum training both in and out of the water for completion of your certification programs. As a licensee you will have access to the Baby Otter Andre Dawson Aquatic Center’s knowledge base website utilizing all vendors of Baby Otter Andre Dawson Aquatic Center’s purchasing network. This includes but not limited to:

   In addition, as a licensee you will have use of our Trademarks and Branding, our 40 years of experience in the industry along with our connections in the aquatic community.   We have what no other business has which is name affiliation with the hall of famer Andre Dawson (The Hawk).  Andre will make appearances to assist a licensee with the launch of their business based upon his availability. 
   
   
2. How Much Is The Initial License Fee?
   The initial license fee is $10,000.00 except for existing territories.  As with any business venture it’s important you have some additional working capital.
   
   
3. What is the term of the license agreement?
   Five years with three optional five year terms that automatically renew.
   
   
4. Does the Licensee need prior industry experience?
   No, a licensee does not require experience in the aquatic industry.  We are looking for licensees who have strong business management skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to help people.  They must like working in the pool, enjoy working with children and have a strong commitment to providing great customer service.
