History
Founder Jack Azar grew up in an orphanage in Jerusalem & was adopted by an American family. By the age of 16 he was on his own & at age 18 he opened a deli. That spun into a catering business with 15 trucks. Jack has been in the food industry his entire life and he LOVES feeding people! Jack's in-laws are 2nd generation restaurateurs from Long Island & used to own a variety of pizza & sandwich shops. Recipes were handed down from generation-to-generation. In the early 70's they moved to VA & in 1997 the first Manhattan Pizza was opened in VA. Lines were out the door and that still holds true today.
Training And Support
Training on all aspects of the business are held in the head quarters of Herndon, VA for 3 weeks with continued mentoring and support throughout your Manhattan Pizza ownership. You will be part of the family provided with the guidance and structure necessary to run a successful business.
